Lil Wayne created a frenzy last evening when news surfaced that his private jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Texas. According to initial reports the New Orleans born rapper suffered a seizure-like medical scare, the rumors would quickly grow to him suffering a possible drug overdose.
“THE STREETS say that earlier that day Weezy was sippin EXTRA HEAVY on that lean. And that it may have caused the health issues.”
The rumors are not unfounded given Weezy’s admission of prior drug use. Nonetheless the rumors were false. Lil Wayne did have medical scare that forced his jet to make an emergency landing in Texas where he was treated at a local hospital for several hours and later released but for working too hard…not relapsing. According to his reps,
“Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.”
The Young Money star hopes to reschedule his original Saturday appearance at the Jefferson Mall in Louisville, Kentucky in support of his TrukFit clothing line. Sometime in between Wayne is preparing the release his 10th solo album I Am Not a Human Being II in December. A busy man indeed.
