Keyshia Cole prepares to share her wedding with husband Daniel Gibson with her millions of fans on her BET reality TV show “Keyshia & Daniel: Family First”. The songstress also gave the world a sneak peak of her new upcoming shoe collection while calling out rapper Gucci Mane for spreading rumors that she had an affair with Diddy.
Keyshia Cole has been a songstress turned entrepreneur and her latest business venture is a new affordable line of shoes.
The “Enough of No Love” singer partner up with Steven Madden to create the shoe line specifically so her fans wouldn’t have to miss out on some great fashions just because they couldn’t afford a new pair of shoes.
“I’ve been talking about this Steve Madden deal for about four years now so the reason why I wanted to do a deal with Steve Madden is because, when I didn’t have any money and before I got my deal, I use to buy Steve Madden shoes,” Cole explained. “So I just want to make sure that I do really cute shoes that my demographic can afford.”
She revealed that the shoes would debut next month, but until then fans can be on the lookout to see some of the designs in her music videos and on her very own feet when she makes public appearances.
The 31-year-old already sported one pair when she appeared on BET’s 106 & Park.
The new shoe line is certainly an exciting project for the reality star, but over the weekend she had to focus on handling a rumor that rapper Gucci decided to spread on his latest “beef” track geared at Jeezy.
The mixtape track titled “Truth” was only meant to get under rapper Young Jeezy’s skin, but a few lines in the song pulled the R&B singer into the drama as well.
“I did a song with Keyshia Cole and I know you still miss her/ but Puff was f—ing her while you was falling in love with her,” Gucci, whose real name is Radric Davis, rapped on the diss record.
Of course, the “Long Way Down” songstress didn’t take the accusations very well and called the “Trap Back” rapper out via Twitter.
“Putting all ya trust in some of these ‘Hood Rappers’ … How u gone be a G, and u spreading lies, To sell mix tapes! Where ya talent at,” the California native tweeted.
After a few minutes, @TokioRose tweeted Cole to inform her that “mediocrity always attacks excellence.”
Although Keyshia admitted that her follower had a point, but still just wished Gucci would have kept her name out of his drama.
