Halle Berry Misses Nahla on Date with Olivier Martinez

Halle Berry joined her fiancé Olivier Martinez for a romantic date, but still couldn’t get her mind off daughter Nahla who was spending time with her father Gabriel Aubry.

Halle and Olivier walked hand in hand through Beverly Hills as Martinez did his best to cheer up his fiancée.

The couple headed to Matsuhisa, Nobu Matsuhisa’s flagship restaurant in the Hills and a popular destination among foodies and celebs, for some downtime together.

Although the gorgeous 46-year-old mother of one is usually nothing but smiles when she is around her fiancé, this time she couldn’t even crack a smile.

Despite the fact that she looked so gloomy and upset, she still looked stunning in a black and white t-shirt with a black and white striped blazer and some classy black heels.

She donned a pair of large shades that kept her eyes hidden, but her pursed lips and strained jaw line was enough to give away the fact that she was clearly upset.

Even Martinez didn’t look as joyful, probably because of his failed attempts to get the former Bond girl to smile.

The award winning actress is currently waiting on a court decision for her brutal custody battle which will determine if she can take her daughter Nahla with her to France, which is her fiance’s native country.

Gabriel on the other hand is fighting to keep Nahla in America so he can spend more time with his little girl.

While Halle was out on her date, Nahla’s father took the 4-year-old to a Halloween festival in Studio City where she was able to ride a Shetland pony.

Ironically, it seemed as if Nahla was missing her mommy just as much as she was missing her.

The adorable little princess was photographed riding the pony but shared the same tense facial expression that her mother was photographed with and rarely cracked a smile.

Later, Aubry was seen carrying her back to the car as she fell asleep in his arms.

Halle’s daughter will probably have a smile on her face in no time once she lays her eyes on the giant Halloween goodie basket that her dad bought for her at the festival.

The Cloud Atlas star certainly has her plate full for the next few weeks as she will have to find the perfect Halloween costume for Nahla, a new film coming out later this month, and hitting the promotional trail with Tom Hanks to promote the upcoming release of Cloud Atlas.

The film is based on David Mitchell’s bestselling novel, but has already received a lot of tough early reviews.

In just a few more days the film will hit theaters nationwide on October 26 and hopefully will surpass the critics’ expectations.

Earlier this month, the gorgeous actress and philanthropist was honored at this year’s Variety Power of Women Luncheon and exclaimed that “all of the women here inspire me!”

Later on Thursday, she also was in attendance at the “We Will Always Love You” Grammy salute to Whitney Houston, along with Britney Spears and Jennifer Hudson.

Hopefully the Catwoman actress’s busy schedule will be enough to keep her mind occupied until she finally hears back from the court on the verdict of her ongoing custody battle.
