Jennifer Aniston Sports $500,000 Engagement Ring

Over the weekend actress Jennifer Aniston brought out her engagement ring for the first time, sporting a huge diamonded estimated to be worth half a million dollars. Her soon-to-be-husband Justin Theroux reportedly popped the question on his 41st birthday.

“Looking at the ring, it’s a basic solitaire and a beautiful diamond,” designer Peter Meksian told Celebuzz on Monday. Meksian believes the ring is eight or nine carats, and is likely a radiant cut, a popular choice for larger stones. “Buying a half-a-million-dollar diamond definitely shows someone how much you love them. I’m sure she’s happy,” Mekisan said.

Photographers caught Aniston with the expensive ring during a Saturday night outing in Sante Fe, New Mexico. Her new movie, We’re the Millers has been filming in Albuquerque. While the ring may not be as pricey as Beyonce’s 18-carat piece or the 20.5 carat engagement ring Kim Kardashian received from Kris Humphries last year, there’s no doubt that she’s feeling the love.
