If you are dying to know more about the long rumored iPad mini, you may not have much longer to wait.
The latest Apple rumor flying around the internet says that Apple will send out press invites on October 10 to an iPad mini unveiling, according to a report in Fortune.
If the rumor is true, and Apple follows its traditional course of announcing and then releasing a new piece of technology, that means the actual unveiling event will be held a week later, and the iPad mini will be available somewhere around October 22.
The media invite date was provided by an anonymous “big investor” in the company, who said he heard it from several sources.
While the iPad mini has not inspired as robust a rumor mill as the iPhone 5 did before it’s release, we do have some rumored clues about what the device might look and feel like.
