Latina songstress Shakira has several reasons to rejoice as the new Voice judge and a soon-to-be mommy. The 35-year old performer confirmed her pregnancy with 25-year old Spanish soccer playing boyfriend Gerard Piqué.
On Wednesday Shakira wrote on Facebook of the pregnancy in English and Spanish for her multicultural friends,
“As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days.”
She further added that all promotional stints in the near future will be canceled including the upcoming iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas this weekend.

The Colombian born singer began dating Gerard last year, this will be their first child together. Shakira is believed to be about five months pregnant.
NBC has decided to tape the third and fourth season of the ‘Voice’ consecutively which means Shakira will still be pregnant showing off her baby bump!
