From Here to Infinity: St. Lucia’s Jade Mountain Resort, Every Room Has Own Infinity Pool

Couple relaxing in private infinity pool. That’s what’s up!!

Part of the Caribbean’s Lesser Antilles, St. Lucia is triangled between Martinique, St. Vincent, and Barbados. Geographically, it’s distinguished from its neighbors by its mountainous terrain — Mt Gimie (3,120ft) is its highest peak, while the Pitons, which sit right on the coast near the towns of Soufrière and Choiseul, give the island one of its most iconic landscapes.

On the other side of Soufrière Bay, the Jade Mountain resort property claims to be the only on one the island with views of both Pitons. Architect Nick Troubetzkoy capitalized on this by facing each room in their direction. The prime resort feature, though, is that each room has an open fourth wall equipped with its own infinity pool (BALLER!).

The “infinity pool sanctuaries” start at $1,000US / night, and the property’s “techno-free” policy means no telephones, no televisions, and limited internet access.
