Detroit Vegan Soul founders Erika Boyd and Kirsten Ussery

Detroit Vegan Soul is a newly created meal delivery & catering company that with the help of Hatch Detroit will open a café in one of Detroit’s historic neighborhoods. According to the owners, Erika Boyd and Kirsten Ussery, “We want good, healthy food to be accessible to everyone. Our mission is to help people live healthier lives by providing great-tasting, high-quality, nutritious vegan food that appeals to everyone, while at the same time doing our part to support a sustainable earth.”

Education on how to improve and maintain better health.

“At Detroit Vegan Soul, you can enjoy your favorite comfort foods with confidence that the ingredients are fresh, organic, and completely plant-based. Our menu is prepared with organic produce, natural ingredients and sweeteners, all made without additives, preservatives, refined flours, sugars, dairy, eggs or animal by-products…
