One thing that the Scary Movie franchise is known for, is the celebrity spoofs in their films. Last month, the company hired Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan for the upcoming Scary Movie 5. Sheen has already appeared in two Scary Movie films in the past, but will he be playing the same character? In the fourth installment, his character was killed off in the beginning, but then appeared on Oprah at the end of the movie, where he threw Cindy (Anna Faris) off the stage.
On the other hand, working with Lohan, could possible be a problem. The New York Post has recently posted news stating that Lohan allegedly “missed every single meeting she had” for the upcoming film. The website mentioned that she also skipped out on planned rehearsals, and told the producers that she had something called “walking pneumonia.” Apparently, the Mean Girls star “freaked out” when she read the script, as it took some jabs at her personal life.
Fans will have to wait to see if Lohan gets the boot or if she will finally show up on set. Scary Movie 5 is slated to open April 19, 2013.
