Nick Lachey Baby – Vanessa Minnillo Lachey and her husband Nick Lachey have welcomed their first baby together, a boy named Camden John Lachey.
Camden was born on Wednesday evening weighing a healthy 8lbs! The couple confirmed in their statement, “We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey. Born today at 6:54 p.m., he came into this world at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for both of us.”
After five years of dating, Nick, 38, and Vanessa, 31 were married in 2011 in a secret wedding on Necker Island. Nearly a year later the Lachey’s confirmed they’re expecting a child. On the eve of their wedding anniversary, Nick and Vanessa shared their love on Twitter.
“What a year! Love, Marriage, Love, Baby. Thank You @NickSLachey for constantly making me the happiest woman I can be.”
“@VanessaLachey I love you kid! One down, many happy more to go. Next year, we celebrate as a family! Happy anniversary.”
Since announcing the pregnancy Twitter has been filled with day to day updates from growing baby bump pictures to details of their baby boy’s nursery to Maternity Monday tips for other expecting mothers. One thing is certain, this couple was ready!
Nick shared recently,
“The nursery’s ready, we got the stroller, we got the car seat. Now it’s just emotionally figuring out what we do, and I don’t think that ever ends. I’ve assembled a couple strollers at this point and I’m pretty confident. If my brother [Drew Lachey] can handle putting in a car seat, I feel like I have a pretty good chance. If he can do it, anyone can do it!”
The Wipeout host also added just a few weeks ago,
“I’m feeling good, mostly anxious. Once you get down to the last couple of weeks, you are constantly on edge because it could happen at any minute. We have done all our preparation, so now it’s the waiting game.”
