Rosario Dawson has confirmed that she will be returning to Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
In an interview with E Online, Dawson stated, “It’s in! It’s happening! Can’t tell you nothing,” indicating a hint about her return.
In the first installment, Dawson played Gail, a blood thirsty leader of Old Town that had the hots for Dwight McCarthy.
When previously asked by Comingsoon.net, about her character Gail, she said, “I think Gail is pretty much Gail. What you see is what you get. I don’t think she’s going to be poppin’ out any babies and singing any songs or anything like that. What’s actually really fun about it is that we get to investigate it a little bit more into the storyline that was actually in “Sin City 2” – that middle chapter which is where Gail mostly was. Investigate a little more as to who is this man and what are they talking about when he’s got a different face.”
According to a storyline written on IMDB:
It’s one of those hot nights, dry and windless. The kind that makes people do sweaty, secret things. Dwight’s thinking of all the ways he’s screwed up and what he’d give for one clear chance to wipe the slate clean, to dig his way out of the numb gray hell that is his life. And he’d give anything. Just to cut loose. Just to feel the fire. One more time.
Robert Rodriquez and Frank Miller join forces to direct Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, a film based on Miller’s graphic novel.
