One of the highlights of last night’s MTV Video Music Awards was the debut of a brand spanking new Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 trailer. What was even more exciting is that the clip included some fresh unseen footage that featured Bella (Kristen Stewart) showing off some of her new abilities as a vampire.
At the beginning of the clip we hear Edward (Robert Pattinson) talking about the Bella’s transformation. Meanwhile, we witness just how much she has changed as we watch Bella take down a mountain lion and takes a dive off an insanely high waterfall.
Following the scenes displaying Bella’s newly found powers, we are reminded by the Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer just what the final installment is all about. Bella doesn’t only have new powers, she also has a new responsibility. The birth of her daughter Renesmee has drawn the ire of the Volturi, a coven of vampires who enforces the laws of the vampire world.
The Volturi have come to destroy Renesmee, who they deem a major violation of the “born vampire” law. However, Bella is hell bent on keeping her safe by any means necessary.
Besides Pattinson and Stewart, Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 stars Taylor Lautner, Michael Sheen, Ashley Greene and newcomer Mackenzie Foy. The film arrives in theaters on November 16, 2012.
