Terrence J Gets New Gig As 'E! News' Co-Anchor

Terrence Jenkins (aka Terrence J), ex-co-host of BET’s 106 & Park will become the permanent replacement of Ryan Seacrest on E! News, joining Giuliana Rancic as co-anchor.

The news comes on the heels of the appointment of Jason Kennedy and Catt Sadler as co-anchors of E! News Weekend.

“Having Giuliana and Terrence for the weeknight program, and Jason and Catt for weekends, gives us a quartet of skilled, popular broadcast journalists and will give viewers a fun, fresh look at pop culture news,” said E! President of E! News Cyndi McClellan.

Seacrest has served as co-anchor of E! News since 2006 but he only occasionally hosted the telecast lately as his career as a TV personality and producer took off. Seacrest’s wide-reaching April deal with NBC Universal gave him new roles at the broadcast network while scaling back on his hosting of E! News.

Terrence J recently appeared in this year’s box office hit dramedy, Think Like A Man.

Mr Jenkins will start his new gig on November 12.
