The musical rivalry between rappers 50 Cent and Kanye West has reignited, prompted by recent remarks from 50 about West’s girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
In an interview with XXL magazine the Queens native expressed his sentiments.
“You know how it is? One man’s trash is another man’s treasure,” he said, referring to Kardashian.
These comments came after the rapper was asked about Kanye’s new song “Perfect B*tch,” which is supposedly about Kim.
“I mean … if that man feel like she’s perfect then she’s perfect,” said 50 Cent. “He could mean it and you’ll end up singing the words to it because he’s Kanye.”
The rapper also expressed his doubts on there being such a thing as the perfect woman.
“I’m not sure. The smartest guys I know have lost being a bad judge of character in that area,” he said.
The two rappers have been rivals for some time now. In 2007, 50 Cent promised to end his music career if his rival out-sold his album upon its release. Of course he came up short as Kanye’s record sold 957,000 to his 691,000. But 50 changed his mind about ending the career.
