Jay-Z Adds Drake, Run DMC to Eclectic Line-Up for ‘Made in America’ Festival

Jay-Z’s Made in America Festival just got exponentially bigger following the Philadelphia weekend’s final lineup announcement yesterday. Joining already announced acts like Odd Future, D’Angelo, Rita Ora, and Maybach Music Group ( Rick Ross, Wale, & Meek Mill) are huge stars like Drake, Jill Scott, and Nicky Romero. Rap legends (and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members) Run DMC will perform on the event’s second night which Pearl Jam is headlining.

The festival also added acts that skew more towards pop than hip-hop, including Swedish House Mafia DJ Alesso, bluesy guitarist Gary Clark Jr, and rocker Chris Cornell of Soundgarden. They will play alongside previously billed electronic acts like Skrillex, Miike Snow, and “Feel So Close” singer Calvin Harris.

Made in America will be held in Philadelphia on September 1 and 2. Single day tickets are set to go on sale on Friday, August 3.
