Check out Michael Douglas and Matt Damon as a candid photo was taken on the set of Steven Soderbergh’s Liberace biopic, Behind The Candelabra.
The HBO flick, directed by Soderbergh, enlists Douglas to play the role of Liberace. The character is a world-renowned American pianist and vocalist, whose career spanned for four decades of concerts, recordings, motion pictures, television and endorsements. Damon will be playing Scott Thorson, a much younger lover who was successful in suing for palimony, shortly before the famous pianist died of AIDS in 1987.
This photo was popped while the two was on set in Beverly Hills on Monday. Many are wondering if the two will be locking lips and or other things while they portray this relationship, but none of that was seen on set on Monday. However, Damon did reveal that the two would be kissing in the movie.
“It’s scripted that there’s more than one, said Damon. I never thought I would get to kiss Michael Douglas.”
Behind The Candelabra is scheduled to air sometime in 2013.
