Snoop Dogg Caught with Weed, Banned by Norway for 2 Years

Snoop Dogg has to steer clear of Norway for a while.

The rapper has been banned from entering Norway for two years because he was caught with eight grams of cannabis by customs agents after drug sniffing dogs detected the drugs.

According to his lawyer, Snoop “can live with the decision” and has no plans to appeal the ban. He was also found to be carrying more cash than legally allowed. He was fined 52,000 kroner (8,602 USD) after admitting to the two offenses. He was later allowed to perform at the festival.

This is the second time this year Snoop Dogg has been busted because of weed. In January, he was arrested by border patrol agents in Texas after weed was found on his tour bus. He was let off with a warning. Doesn’t appear that the warnings are working. In the past Snoop has also been banned in Australia and the UK, though the UK ban was lifted after a lengthy legal battle. In his spare time, Snoop coaches youth league and high school football, constantly serving as a role model to young people.
