At Age 40, Jada Pinkett Smith Wows in Skimpy Bikini

Jada Pinkett Smith added herself to the long line of female celebrities who post revealing pictures of themselves on Twitter—putting up a shot of herself coming out of the ocean in a skimpy bikini like a Bond girl.

But leave it to Jada to put a social good behind her near-nakedness. She added the following caption to the picture: ‘To my Forty and over crew! Don’t believe the hype… we DO get better with age!’

Not to begrudge Jada her svelte physique, but the actress—who turns 41 in September— has always been rail-thin, so it’s not that surprising she has managed to stay slim into her 40s. But still, it does require some hard work to keep it toned, which Jada has spoken about on many occasions in the past.
This is what she has said about her relationship to food, which she admitted she rarely eats for enjoyment.

She told Essence magazine: “I don’t eat for pleasure. I had the only West Indian grandmother that could not cook. She was an awful cook, and she taught me that you don’t eat for taste, you eat for nourishment. And I have kept that over the years, so I can eat anything that’s healthy.”

To those of us who feel their lives are so much richer and fuller because of our willingness to sample and indulge in all the incredible culinary creations the cooks of the world have prepared for the human palate, that may sound a bit sad. But that does explain the slim physique for this mother of two.

Jada said she does on rare occasions treat herself to French fries and pizza.

“I eat for my schedule so I have to eat high-protein, lots of greens and healthy carbs so that I don’t fall flat on my face.”
As for working out, Pinkett Smith does it quite a bit—she works out five days a week, according to the Daily Mail, including boxing, gymnastics, yoga and martial arts.
