Kanye West Joined DJ Khaled, Rick Ross in Miami for Hype Williams-Directed Video Shoot

Back in April, DJ Khaled promised he had a “monstrous earthquake” of a collaboration coming up with Kanye West, and that turned out to be his Kiss the Ring single “I Wish You Would,” which also features Rick Ross. Both ‘Ye and Rozay joined Khaled on set in Miami this past weekend, where they filmed a video to accompany the track.

MTV News was on set for the shoot and caught some behind-the-scenes footage of the three rap titans, who sported some of their finest gear for the Hype Williams-directed clip. Khaled and Ross were dressed in black with plenty of leather, dark sunglasses and jewelry to accent their wardrobes, while Kanye, not surprisingly, turned things up a notch by adding some red-and-white leather pants to the mix.

For Khaled’s video, all three rappers took a turn filming in a narrow, graffiti-marked hallway, but Kanye brought extra energy to the frames, swinging from hanging beams in the warehouse space while delivering his verse.

“I just wanna thank Ross and Kanye and We the Best, YMCMB, MMG and G.O.O.D. Music for supporting this amazing video, because it’s gonna be historical,” Khaled told MTV News of the clip. “It’s one of them videos where the world’s gonna love [it] and the streets are gonna embrace it.”

Khaled, who recently collaborated with West on the single “Cold,” has a unique working relationship with the rapper/super-producer that results in no-holds-barred music. “On my end, I got this thing with ‘Ye where I tell him there’s no rules and there’s no regulations,” Khaled told MTV News back in April. “It’s no format, and ain’t nobody gonna tell us nothing on what we’re gonna do.”
