The family of Kile Glover including his mother Tameka Raymond, father Ryan Glover and former stepfather Usher Raymond are calling for prayers in the wake of his tragic accident.
As previously reported last Friday Kile and a 15-year old unnamed girl were being pulled in an inner tube when a family friend named Jefferey Hubbard attempted to jump over their heads with a jet ski. Unfortunately the jet ski would hit both children with Kile suffering the brunt of the impact. The 11-year old boy has reportedly not had any brain activity since being admitted to the hospital and is currently on life support.
The family issued a statement to CNN earlier this week, “We know God’s in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time.
We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it’s the best way we can all support him now.”
As of Saturday morning, one week later there are no other updates on the state of Kile. Sergeant Mike Burgamy of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources explained that the accident was still under investigation.
