A DC cop who was over heard launching death threats against first lady Michelle Obama is currently under investigation.
The Washington Post reported Thursday that a DC police officer who worked as a motorcycle escort for the White House was overheard making the inappropriate comments on Wednesday. The following day he was moved to administrative duty.
The unnamed officer allegedly said he would shoot Mrs. Obama and proceeded to show off the gun he would use on his phone.
The District of Colombia police spokeswoman Gwendolyn Crump said this after being questioned on the report: “We received an allegation that inappropriate comments were made. We are currently investigating the nature of those comments.”
Others within the Secret Service are telling NBC the comments were in poor taste but the scrutiny and investigation is not needed. “Pump the brakes on this one.”
When the Secret Service is saying “pump the brakes” when an officer is her over threatening the life of the first lady…we have a problem.
