New Zimmerman Evidence Just Released by FBI, Still Being Sorted Through

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Special Prosecutor Angela Corey has just released another round of evidence in her second-degree murder case against George Zimmerman, including a first look at what FBI agents have turned up in their civil rights investigation.

Orlando Sentinel reporters are reviewing the records. Check back for updates.

There are no expected blockbusters.

Among the things being released are the reports of ten FBI agents who interviewed several Sanford police officers, including the case’s lead investigator, Chris Serino. They also talked to Zimmerman’s former girlfriend — who accused him in court paperwork of being violent — his neighbor Frank Taffee; several unidentified civilian witnesses and employees at the gun store where Zimmerman bought the firearm he used to shoot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
