Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon have several homes, but they are also faithful renters. The couple has rented a lavish compound in the Hamptons. According to RadarOnline, the house has six bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a creek and a swimming pool with floating cabanas.
The house also has movie theater, a wine cellar and house staff quarters in its basement. The couple currently pays $150,000 every month for rent and if they want to own the house, they would have to cough up $14,995,000. This house isn’t the only multimillion dollar home they’re maintaining. According to the Real Estalker blog, they own a house in the hills in Los Angeles that is worth $7 million, a penthouse in New York’s Tribeca district and a home right on the ocean in the Bahamas that is worth $5 million.
Perhaps, they are making room for another sister or brother for 1-year old twins Monroe and Moroccan. According to Star magazine, the couple is trying to conceive. “They’ve been doing a lot of practicing,” a source said to the magazine. “Nick is pretty pleased with this arrangement.”
