The Williams sisters are back in the Wimbledon Finals. Serena Williams just hours after defeating Victoria Azarenka for a spot in the finals joined sister Venus hours later to knock out
Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears 6-1, 6-1.
Friday the sisters were back at it where they took down no. 1 Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 to reach the finals.
After sister Venus lost in the first round of her singles match Serena knows how important winning their fifth Wimbledon title would mean. It “would be so awesome. We’re having so much fun,” Serena said. “We played really well today, actually. We’re really enjoying ourselves, so we really hope that we can win two (more) matches in doubles.”
