Nicki Minaj was a big winner at the BET Awards tonight, picking up the award for the Best Female Rap Artist.
Minaj was also a major attraction onstage, bringing considerable drama to her performance of “Champion” and “Beez in the Trap,” with a fancy light show, a crew of dancers, and a moment of excitement when she pulled off the long, frilly skirt to reveal a skintight outfit that highlighted every inch of her famous derriere. Nicki even turned around, baring her behind to the crowd, and bent over to make sure everyone got a good look. The crowd screamed its approval.
Minaj received the benefit of many close-ups during the night, her large eyes intently focused on the stage as she swung her long blonde locks. On her right was Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, then Jay-Z and Beyonce, making up a murderer’s row of paparazzi dreams.
