Tomorrow OWN Network will air an interview with Oprah and Miami Heat superstars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. The interview, which took place after the team’s championship parade this previous Monday, goes in depth with the trio on their long journey to championship glory.
During the interview, Winfrey also asked a recently vindicated James about the now infamous vicious letter from Dan Gilbert, “The Decision” and his engagement to high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson.
“I was very nervous. It was like a Finals game,” James said. ”We were having a New Year’s party and I knew all my teammates and my friends and family were gonna be there and I was ready to make the next step in my commitment with Savannah.”
James didn’t want to risk Savannah noticing the ring on his person, so he had Wade hold the ring the entire night. In true romantic fashion, James proposed right after the clock struck 12.
