Beyonce And Jay-Z Dine With Florence Welch In London

Beyonce has taken time away from Blue Ivy mommy duties and enjoy dinner with hubby Jay-Z and Florence Welch (front woman for The Florence + The Machine) and to write a heartfelt tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, three years after the day of his tragic death.

The “Halo” singer recalled in a post on her website how her first producer would insist she listen to Michael’s song “Who’s Loving You” for hours on repeat.

“What he wanted me to learn was his soul. You could hear his soul. And he was a little kid who hadn’t experienced love but he was a vessel. For whatever reason he could evoke more emotional than an adult,” the 30-year-old conveyed.

From her guided experience of listening and studying the “Billy Jean” singer-performer, she grasped what he innately possessed was not something that could be learned.

“It was so raw and pure. It was these things that he did that was just swag. It’s something that’s God given.”

Jay-Z’s wife also revealed that the late international pop star made her feel more comfortable with being who she is.

“Michael taught me sometimes you just have to forget technique, forget what you have on. If you feel silly, you just have to go from the gut. Let it go.”

And as many artists have before, she thanked the “Scream” singer for his many artistic contributions to the world.

“Michael Jackson changed me and helped me become the artist that I am. Thank you Michael.”

Later that evening Beyonce and Jay invited friends to Bistrotheque in Bethnal Green, east London, where they hosted a private dinner that also doubled as a birthday celebration for Solange Knowles.

“There were about eight of them. They were also celebrating Beyonce’s sister Solange’s birthday,” revealed a source to the UK Sun, adding “Florence sat opposite Jay-Z and had a great time. They were all pretty animated throughout dinner.

Sounds like a good time!
