Jennifer Lopez’s Sexy Sheer Catsuit Wins Over Panama City

Jennifer Lopez’s costumes designed by Zuhair Murad for her 25-city summer tour will be showstoppers if her kickoff outfit on Thursday, a diamond skintight catsuit, is any indication.

“It is always exciting to work with Jennifer,” the Lebanese designer tells People. “There is no limit to her imagination and she is always open to new suggestions and ideas.”

“My utmost wish is for each costume to create a ‘Wow!’ effect the moment she steps on stage.”

Well, wow the 42-year-old did! The “Dance Again” singer looked spectacular her opening night in the full bodysuit that clung to every pronounced body part like a glove. The sexy, sweetheart neckline bejeweled number was reminiscent of Britney Spears’ “I’m A Slave” MTV Awards nude-esque fit.

Another Murad frock for “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” singer that won’t go unnoticed is the ”Old Hollywood Glamour” which was inspired by turn-of-the-century Parisian performers. The gown— completes with a crystallized cap—detaches revealing a bodysuit.

Other looks to look forward to include: a blue feathered cape that covers a sexy, matching mini dress and a black catsuit with hand-embroidered black pearl beading and beaded fringe.

Most of the extravagant looks had their own bouts of complications, which took a month for completion, from hand-sewing thousand of feathers and countless crystals to create the vision Murad had in mind ensuring a “new and challenging experience.”

“We took extra precaution when working with embroidery and beadwork,” Murad says. “Each crystal was hand-sewn by our atelier with special thread to ensure that the costumes would withstand constant movement and quick changes.”

Obviously, well worth it with Jennifer’s satisfaction as she tweeted her first tour night was “great.”

“Jennifer has a beautiful body,” he says, “and wears each look perfectly.”

Lopez kicks off the North American leg of her tour with Enrique Iglesias on July 14.
