UPDATE-Basketball Wives will have one married cast mate by the start of season 5. In just under one month before Evelyn Lozada will walk down the aisle to say “I Do” to Chad Ochocinco, reports surfaced that the camera loving duo was blacklisted from high end hotels. Reportedly the volatile ‘Basketball Wives’ star and her fiance were shut out of four of five high end hotels in Florida. “The Ritz, the St. Regis, and the Breakers are all out—the hotels want no parts of the duo, their filming crew, or any looming farce.”
Many believed, and rightly so, that Evelyn’s wild behavior on Basketball Wives was nothing a high establishment wanted to be associated with. Despite the obvious, Evelyn’s camp released a statement to Eurweb to clear the air,
“Being that Evelyn and Chad’s upcoming nuptials will be filmed for national television,” said the rep, “the majority of high-end hotels in the Miami area prefer not to have cameras on-site nor would they allow their employees to be filmed.”
It’s difficult to believe that a high end hotel would turn away a high profile couple especially since Evelyn bragged out supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her New Englands Patriot quarterback husband Tom Brady being in attendance. Of course that was before Chad was cut from the team. Either way Evelyn’s story sounds fishy.
