Court Docs Say Zimmerman Could Have Avoided Killing Trayvon Martin

Many people are being sidetracked by the evidence released today by the prosecution showing that Trayvon Martin had traces of marijuana in his system on the evening of his fatal run in with George Zimmerman. They are reaching conclusions based on a grainy police car photo of Zimmerman with, what appears to be, a broken nose and somehow think that Zimmerman getting the worse of a physical altercation that he initiated now excuses the fact that he shot an unarmed teenager.

Fortunately, the court apparently saw through the hubris because its bottom line statement is this: “the encounter between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin was ultimately avoidable by Zimmerman.” Period.
