Hot Times This Summer at The American Black Film Festival in Miami

Hot city + Hot weather + Hot bodies + Hot parties + Hot films = Hot times this summer at the American Black Film Festival in Miami Beach.

The ABFF, the premier Black film festival in the world, is entering its 16th year and is stronger than ever thanks to considerable corporate support, a desirable destination and extensive industry involvement.

Independent filmmakers and actors attend the festival as an opportunity to premier their projects, network with peers and film executives and then, ultimately, close some deals in order to see a few green lights.

Industry insiders attend ABFF to get a heads-up on potentially lucrative projects, identify rising talent and promote their own offerings.

Sponsors sign on to align their brands with the weekend’s happenings in order to showcase their products or services to the generally well-heeled festival attendees.

And film fans line up to get a relaxed look at their favorite stars and celebrities strolling the runners of the red carpet events; run through the innumerable parties and exclusive events; soak up some sexy Miami sun; but mostly they all come as ardent movie buffs to enjoy a rich, well-curated offering of quality features, shorts, documentaries, narratives and other film/video offerings targeting Black audiences. It’s a winning formula each and every year!

This year’s ABFF will be June 20th – 23rd. For ticket and pass information, log on to ABFF.com to get details plus lodging and venue locations.
