Chris Bosh Welcomes Baby Boy In Time To Make Game 3

Chris Bosh and wife Adrienne Bosh’s baby boy, Jackson Bosh, arrived healthy into the world Thursday morning in Miami and already has impeccable timing. Jackson came just in time to allow the new dad to fly in to witness his arrival at 3 A.M. and in time to allow Chris to fly out for Game 3 against the New York Knicks.

“Told Chris Bosh will be back in NYC in time for Game 3 tonight. Bosh’s wife, Adrienne, gave birth to the couple’s child this am in Miami,” stated journalist David Aldridge.

Chris was able to fly via private plane to be next to his wife’s side as he was alerted of her going into labor while he was In New York for Game 2.

Equally relieved, his gorgeous wife tweeted, “Thank God for private flights…Hurry home Baby”

The birth was first confirmed by Miami Herald sports columnist Greg Cote, who tweeted, “It’s a boy! Chris and Adrienne Bosh are new parents. Congratulations to all…”

There was some concern due to the timing about the Miami Heat player returning for the big game.

“Having his presence would help even if he isn’t 100 percent,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “When we left, we knew it could be any day.”

Though fans and the coach may have been on pins and needles about the Heat’s forward return or not, some of Bosh’s teammates expected his return. Shane Battier and Mike Miller both had children during the playoffs last year and were able to play without skipping a beat.

Lebron James had a child during the 2007 Finals and recalled how having a child during the playoffs worked for him: “This is a great way to get away from it, to come back here and play the game of basketball,” James said. “To get away from the kid and get away from everything that’s going on with that. I mean that’s what I did, I got away from my family and I was able to go play in the Finals. … I would bet he’d be here, this is a huge game.”

Meanwhile, Adrienne sent out a precious tweet for those who sent great vibes. She tweeted, “From a Dream, To a Thought, To Reality, To being in our Arms 🙂 Thank you all for the Positive wishes & thoughts!”

Congrats to the couple on their little boy!
