Jennifer Hudson returned to her ol’ stumping ground to take to the American Idol stage to flawlessly perform “Think Like A Man” with singer-songwriter Ne-Yo on Thursday’s elimination show.
Nearly half her size and one of the biggest American Idol alums to legitimize the reality show’s gist, the “I Got This” singer looked rock-glam as she swayed (and actually moved some) on the stage belting out notes in her colossal voice as Ne-yo attributed to the bridge, reiterating that a lost (Jennifer didn’t win the season she was on) doesn’t have to be a bad thing.
The mother-of-one, David Daniel, went for a new look—that we love on her—with a high pompadour made up of soft pretty curls that formed into a long loose braid. Her edgy hairstyle perfectly complimented her power-jeweled shoulder top, black leather mini, and several wrist adornments.
Not sure if the pair consulted on what color to sport, but Ne-Yo’s black and white ensemble with his signature topper went over well for their performance look.
