Morgan Freeman is arguably one of the most dignified actors walking the planet today. He touched many with his performances in films such as The Shawshank Redemption, Glory and The Dark Knight Rises. Despite being 75 years old, Freeman has not slowed down a bit.
Magnolia Pictures just released the trailer to The Magic Of Belle Isle, his next film to hit the theaters. The affable actor will be reuniting with The Bucket List director Rob Reiner to play Monte Wildhorn, a famous western novelist that struggles with alcoholism and eventually loses his passion for writing. He takes refuge at a lakeside cabin where he meets an attractive single mom with three daughters, who help him find his love for writing again.
The film also stars Virginia Madsen, Madeline Carroll,Kenan Thompson and Fred Willard.
Magnolia Pictures will be releasing the film on “Video on Demand” starting June 1st, before the film hits theaters five days later on June 6th.
