Paula Patton Eyes Role Alongside Denzel Washington And Mark Wahlburg In '2 Guns'

Paula Patton is currently in talks to play in the upcoming movie 2 Guns. The film which is based on a Steven Grant novel will feature two of Hollywood’s big star in Denzel Washingston and Mark Wahlburg.

The actress has been in numerous films throughout her career, she was last seen in the Brad Bird-directed Mission: Impossible–Ghost Protocol. Patton’s new role in 2 Guns isn’t clear as of yet, but as of now, it’s reported that she will play Washington’s love interest.

Patton may be best known for her roles in the films Idlewild, Déjà Vu, Mirrors, Swing Vote, Precious, Just Wright, Jumping the Broom, and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol .

Director Baltasar Kormakur, who just worked with Wahlberg in the remake of Contraband, will head the film. Blake Masters wrote the script and Marc Platt is producing alongside Boom! Studio’s Andrew Cosby, Ross Richie, Randall Emmett and George Furla.

Emmett/Furla Films is co-financing the movie, and Universal is slated to distribute domestically.
