Ryan Gosling Saves Woman's Life In NYC

Ryan Gosling recently saved a British woman’s life while walking around in New York City. A British journalist reported that the actor “saved” her from being struck by a taxi cab on 6th Avenue yesterday.

“I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. That actually just happened,” Laurie Penny of The New Statesman wrote on Twitter yesterday afternoon. “I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi.”

After the intensity diminished, Penny continued writing on her Twitter page about the near accident.

“He did not say ‘hey, girl’. He said ‘hey, watch out!'” wrote Penny. “Identity of … Ryan Gosling confirmed by girl near me, who said ‘you lucky b!t&h.'”

This isn’t the first time theĀ Blue Valentine actor has been able to play a hero in real life. Last summer, Gosling was captured on camera diffusing a violent street fight on Astor Place in NYC. The fight had broken out when a man stole a painting from a street artist. Thereafter, the artist chased the thief down and began to get physical with him. Gosling calmed the situation by offering the artist $20 for the painting.
