Ashton Kutcher To Play Apple Co-Founder Steve Jobs…..

Ashton Kutcher will star as Steve Jobs in the upcoming movie titled, Jobs. The film is a biopic being produced and financed by an independent company owned by Mark Hulme, a business man relatively new to the film world.

Joshua Michael Stern is set to direct the film in which he has slated to start in May of this year during Kutcher’s break from his CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men. “Kutcher is a natural to play Jobs; the resemblance between the two is unmistakable,” says Stern.

Jobs producers are looking to start the project before Sony pulls together its own Steve Jobs biopic. Last fall, Sony received the film rights to Walter Isaacson’s authorized biography version of Jobs, which was published a few weeks after the Oct. 5, 2011 death of the Apple co-founder.

The independent film, which was written by Matt Whiteley, will feature Jobs’ humble rise from a young California hippie to the co-founder of the powerhouse company Apple.

This movie will feature Kutcher in a character in which people may judge him very critically. In the past, the actor who is known to play in comedy features has played in a few dramas, including The Butterfly Effect and Bobby.
