NeNe Leakes, who is already on the current season of Glee, starring as cheerleading coach Roz Washington, has landed a big part on the NBC sitcom The New Normal.
The comedy pilot centers around a mixed family of a gay couple and a woman who’s going to give birth to their child. Leaks will play the recurring role of Rocky, the girlfriend of Darrell Miller, an attorney for The Collective . The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was given the part by Glee creator Ryan Murphy, being that he’s a co-creator of The New Normal also. Ali Adler is the other co-creator of the project.
NeNe Leakes is a television personality, best known as a cast member on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her acting experience is limited, but she has been pushed in front of real actresses only because of her fame and less about of her talent, some say. Ridiculous or what?
