UPDATE-Bobbi Kristina Brown has responded to reports that her grand mother Cissy Houston calls her relationship with ‘adopted brother’ Nick Gordon ‘incestuous’.
As was reported earlier Bobbi Kristina was blasted by her grandmother Cissy Houston when photos surfaced of her kissing and holding hands with her ‘adopted brother’ Nick Gordon. More on this later.
Bobby Brown’s only daughter with the late Whitney Houston has been making headlines lately, and it’s not just because of her appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s show. The 19 year old is said to be involved with Nick Gordon, a 22-year old young man who Whitney Houston considered to be like the son she never had. The pop diva unofficially adopted Gordon into the family about ten years ago, and he’s since been staying in the Houston household.
As of recently, rumors began swirling about Bobbi Kristina and her ‘adopted’ brother, accusing the pair of being romantically involved. Gordon quickly shot down those accusations, telling ABC News, “We’re just close — just going through her mom’s passing and grieving together.” The two also took to twitter, just as many others do when under pressure. Bobbi Kristina didn’t have anything to say on the subject, but she did retweet a few supporters who encouraged her to do whatever makes her happy.
Gordon, on the other hand, went on a rant tweeting, “Yeah, we got a little closer and what!!! All the haters that don’t know us or the real story can’t unfollow me. I don’t give a f**k. I’ve proved my loyalty to her and the Houston family. I don’t owe any of you anything. Ha, I don’t even know y’all haters.”
He went on, “For the stupid ppl out there, she gave birth to 1 child. And she trusted me with EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! She called me her “God Son.” I swear some ppl in this world act like they don’t have a brain.”
The rant still didn’t prove whether or not the two were dating, but things became crystal clear when TMZ obtained Splash photos of Bobbi holding hands with and kissing Nick while they stepped out to get lunch recently. To make things even more interesting, Gordon has allegedly proposed to Bobbi.
We may now why rumors surfaced last month that Cissy wanted Gordon out of their home away from Bobbi. A “source” close to Cissy shared her thoughts on the relationship, “what they’re doing it incestuous.”
In the latest update a source tells TMZ that Bobbi Kristina is less than concerned about what her grandmother thinks and she’s on a mission to make herself happy. ‘Bobbi “can’t please everyone, so she is going to please herself by doing what she wants to do for once.”‘
