Tempestt Bledsoe is returning to TV. The actress will be starring in Jimmy Fallon’s upcoming untitled pilot.
The TV show is based on three guys in their thirties (played by Anthony Anderson, Jesse Bradford and Zach Cregger) who are striving to be good parents even though they still act like children themselves.
Bledsoe will play the wife of Anderson’s character. The actress whose latest TV work include The Practice, South of Nowhere and Raising the Bar, is best known for her childhood role as Vanessa Huxtable on the long-standing NBC sitcom The Cosby Show. Bledsoe was originally cast for the role of Vanessa Huxtable (Bill Cosby’s daughter) in 1984 and she had a recurring role on the show until its final season in 1992.
The Office and Saturday Night Light writer Charlie Grandy wrote the show and will serve as an EP alongside Fallon. Jimmy Fallon reportedly won’t make an appearance on the pilot.
