Oprah Winfrey, the ex TV host, has recently made a move to help ignite her dormant television station OWN.
Winfrey has landed the first interview with the daughter of late legendary singer Whitney Houston. Bobbi Kristina Brown and other members of the Houston’s family are scheduled to appear for a sit down with Winfrey on her OWN network.
“Oprah’s Next Chapter” will feature an interview with Bobbi Kristina, Patricia Houston, Houston’s sister-in-law and manager, and the singer’s brother Gary.
“Bobbi Kristina shares personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered. The family also addresses the rumors and speculation surrounding Houston’s death,” a release statement from the OWN network reads.
Prior to the family sit down, OWN will re-air the 2009 interview Oprah did with Whitney Houston. Remembering Whitney: The Oprah Interview, features Oprah’s own thoughts and memories about the iconic singer and actress.
The new interview is scheduled to air March 11, 2012 at 7 p.m. est.
