(Previously) Bobbi Kristina was reportedly upset after learning her father did not attend her mother’s funeral. Before Whitney Houston’s funeral was underway, Bobby Brown was involved in a seating incident with security at New Hope Baptist Church after he arrived with his children and requested to seat with the family. According to a statement released by Bobby he was asked to move several times before eventually leaving before the service began. Rev. Jesse Jackson noted that Brown and his family could have been accommodated.
“That was a very difficult moment for all of us; we wanted him to stay. It seems they could have accommodated him better than they did.” Jackson also stated that neither Whitney’s mother Cissy Houston or Bobbi Kristina were aware of the incident several rows behind.
The trouble apparently came after the service when she learned of her father’s treatment. Reportedly Kristina disappeared for several hours causing many to believe she was getting high. Bobby Brown also resumed his tour with New Edition performing later that night. It is unclear if Houston’s family is barring Brown from seeing his daughter but a source close to the family tells Radar Online that he’s the best person for Bobbi Kristina right now.
“Bobby Brown needs to physically go and get his daughter and take her to a remote location and let her mourn the loss of her mother away from prying eyes. Line up some mental health professionals, but Bobby needs to do it. The problem is that Bobby is fearful of making more headlines, or upsetting Whitney’s family, but this is his daughter.”
Adding, “Whitney treated Bobbi Kristina like a friend during recent years, and at times Krissy seemed like the mother or the adult in their relationship. They were constantly together and extremely co-dependent on each other, making this loss for Krissy even more complex. No, Bobby can’t replace Whitney, no one can, but he is the only father she has and she was always daddy’s little girl.”
In a new update another source close to Brown added to Radar Online that he wants his daughter in rehab.
“Bobby is afraid of what is going to happen to Krissy if she doesn’t get some help. Krissy has taken her mother’s death really hard, not surprisingly, and Bobby is terrified she’s going to do something stupid. He wants her in a treatment center, getting professional help to get her through the grieving process without falling back on alcohol or drugs to mask her pain.”
When something so unexpected happens it’s hard to get things back to normal. Bobby Brown is expected to a have a break in his tour, hopefully he will also break from the media and support his daughter Bobbi Kristina.
