The premiere of Basketball Wives season 4 is on the horizon and the drama is building up day by day. The season will return with veterans Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn Lozada,Suzie Ketcham, Tami Roman, Royce Reed, and Jennifer Williams while welcoming newcomers Kesha Nichols and Kenya Bell.
Most notable of the pending drama is the beef between Evelyn Lozada and her former BFF Jennifer Williams. While season 4 is still being recorded Jenn and Evelyn insist there will be no reconciliation. Other than broken relationships VH1’s press release states,
“These powerful women aren’t going to let ex-husbands, challenged friendships, or public scrutiny get them down. Having a relationship with a pro basketball player isn’t always easy but we’ve watched as these women have shown viewers time and time again how they persevere through difficult times.”
Meanwhile Royce revealed in a previous interview that newcomers Kesha and Kenya are getting along much better with the cast than overly thirsty Meeka Claxton. “Meeka wanted to be cool with certain people that did not want to be cool with her and she pretty much got stabbed in the back like 10, 20, 30 times.” Reed also admits she plans to avoid both Shaunie and Evelyn.
VH1 has released a promotional video which you can catch below including a 30 second sneak peak into season 4 (note: it’s grainy). We will update as soon as a clean copy comes available. Basketball Wives season 4 premieres Monday February 20th.
