Justin Timberlake has booked a major role in “Trouble With The Curve”, the upcoming film that will star Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams.
Eastwood plays an ailing baseball scout with eyesight troubles who talks his daughter into going on one last scouting trip to Atlanta with him. The objective of the trip is to scout and recruit a phenom player.
Adams will play Eastwood’s daughter.
Timberlake will play an adjacent scout who falls for the veteran scout’s daughter.
Eastwood recently expressed his admiration for the script saying, “They’re not writing a lot of really great material for guys my age. In lieu of that, I would just prefer to stay behind the camera. But if a great role came along, yeah, I would do that. But actors are like boxers — they stay too long sometimes.”
“Trouble with the Curve”, which is a Warner Bros film, will hit theaters on September 28.
