Daniel Radcliffe continues his career blasting out of the canon of the monumentally successful ‘Harry Potter’ role. Along with recently finishing a year-long run on Broadway in the role of J. Pierrepont Finch in ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’, he has his first big post-Potter leading role with the period Horror thriller ‘The Woman In Black.’
Adapted from the cult 1983 novel by Susan Hill, it’s a traditional Victorian ghost story in which Radcliffe’s Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who suddenly loses his wife, is sent to settle the affairs of an estate that may be haunted by an evil vengeful spirit. Ciarán Hinds (“There Will Be Blood”) co-stars along with Janet McTeer (“Albert Nobbs”).
