Sony has just released the first official image from Sam Mendes’ ‘Skyfall‘, the 23rd Bond film that stars Daniel Craig in his 3rd outing as 007. The photo follows a series of teaser images released on the film’s official social media pages, including obscure photos of basements and one of Bond staring into a pool.
‘Skyfall’ is directed by Sam Mendes and also stars Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory and Ola Rapace. According to the film’s brief synopsis, “Bond’s loyalty to M (Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”
‘Skyfall‘ opens in the U.K. on October 26 and in North America on November 9.
