Serena Williams hasn’t been on a date in “forever”. The 13-grand slam Tennis champion showed off her look for the upcoming Australian Open and shared her thoughts on design and her fading love life.
Serene chose a blue Nike get-up that is reminiscent of her infamous black leather ensemble, sans the leather, and still enough lycra for attention to be drawn to her envious physique.
“This one is super short-short, which is always super hot … this one really enhances the top part of the body,” she said. “Everything I do is style.”
Though the tennis star is not shy about showing her legs, mid-section, and bust off while competing on the court, her smile is surprisingly her favorite body part which she credits (in-part) to her tight six pack.
“I laugh a lot. I think it has a lot to do with those muscles,” she said.
While most men may disagree and may tune in to watch the Melbourne Open to view everything but her smile, the sister of the equally talented Venus Williams, says she hasn’t been on a date in a while.
“I haven’t been on a date in forever,” Williams said. “I can be super picky, never satisfied.”
Ironically, POPULARCRITIC received word earlier this week that a current Hip Hop beef between her ex-rapper beau Common and rapper Drake may have been because of the multi-talented tennis player.
Besides being picky, the five- time Australian Open winner is juggling act between her tennis career, designing, and business ventures which could play a role in her stagnant love life. Serena, 30, alluded her pickiness may have been an issue with previous relationships and has jokingly shelved criteria altogether.
“Anywhere between 18 and 80, blonde, purple or green…blind, cripple, or crazy.”
For now, the competitive star is focusing on her 14th Grand Slam win. Serena recently recovered from an ankle injury and had to whip back into shape for the tournament and to fit in her chosen blue number.
Besides competing for the win, Serena will be competing with Ana Ivanovic, and Caroline Wozniacki who will be trying out their own lycra versions of balloon mini-skirts look for Adidas.
We like Serena’s look for the Australian Open. We’re rooting for you!
