UPDATE-Nick Cannon, 31, could leave an LA hospital by Sunday. Cannon is making strides in his ‘mild kidney failure‘ scare that took place while he and wife Mariah Carey were vacationing in Aspen with their twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
Both Mariah Carey and Nick have been keeping fans abreast of any updates with the “America’s Got Talent” host via Twitter.
“Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he’ll be discharged within 2 days,” the singer Tweeted Friday, adding, “As always he’s laughing and in good spirits.”
Cannon was admitted to an Aspen hospital Wednesday after suffering from acute kidney failure, or softly implied “mild kidney failure” by Mariah who further suggested the condition was brought on because of the flu. Nick tweeted later Wednesday night that he was being moved to a Los Angeles hospital.
“Currently being transferred to a hospital in LA. Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern,” he wrote.
Mariah, 41, has been planting kisses, posting pictures, and thanking fans straight from her husband’s bedside while surrounded with flowers and get well balloons. Carey also tweeted that Nick was in a lot of pain on Wednesday. According to WebMD, acute kidney failure or acute renal failure can be painful.
We are happy to hear that Nick may be stabilized enough to be released from the hospital in a couple days. We’re rooting for you Nick!
Sienna Miller Is Pregnant With First Child
Actress and fashion designer Sienna Miller is pregnant with her first child with her beau of nearly one year Tom Sturridfe. Sienna began dating Tom in March of last year after her off and on again relationship with Jude Law was finally off for good in the earlier part of 2011.
Sienna’s sister Savannah confirmed the news after tweeting the word “THRILLED” when a fan made a comment about Sienna’s rumored pregnancy.
Another poster added, “no greater feeling than welcoming a new life into the world in the comfort of home,” to which Savannah replied “thank you.”
After news broke of her pregnancy it was also rumored by Life & Style that Sienna was engaged to Tom. Reportedly Sturridge proposed with a vintage Victoria ring over the Christmas holiday.
A source told US weekly however that they “don’t have plans right away to marry, if at all.”
While Sienna and Tom figure that part out…congrats on the pregnancy!
