Elin Nordegren, Tiger Wood’s ex-wife, completely demolished her post-divorce $12.3 million North Palm Beach, Florida oceanfront mansion according to the Palm Beach Post.
Nordegren, a former Swedish model and nanny, bought the house seven months after her marriage with pro-golf player imploded.
“It was a beautiful place, incredible landscaping, fantastic ocean frontage,” said local Realtor John True who was at the residence in late October for a party.
Elin, who shares custody of her two boys with Woods, initially had plans of renovating the 1932 two-story, 17, 000-square-foot mansion with an in-ground pool, elevator, and eight bathrooms but opted for a tear down instead.
“I heard that the original plan was to renovate. But once they started, I heard they decided to tear it down” added John True.
In the meantime Elin is living in the San Remo condominiums, an oceanfront development in Juno Beach while her new home is being built from the ground up. According to the Post, Tiger Woods is also building his home but on Juniper Island.
With a $100 million divorce settlement, Elin can comfortably build her dream home, and why not.
