Actress Drew Barrymore is engaged to her boyfriend Will Kopelman. Kopelman, an art consultant and son of Arie Kopelman, the former CEO of Chanel, proposed to Drew over the holidays.
According to Us Weekly, Will popped the question while the two were enjoying a 10-day vacation in Sun Valley, Idaho. Drew’s engagement ring is reportedly a 4-carat colorless radiant-cut diamond ring.
“He’s madly in love and knows she’s The One,” said an insider to US. The engagement news comes as a welcomed turn of events for the couple who began dating in February of this year but had already battled split rumors in May. Reportedly Drew was eager to get married and start a family while Will wanted more time. Fast forward a few months and the couple are back on the same page.
The quirky actress has had two short-lived marriages prior to this engagement. Her first marriage ended after 19 days to bar owner Jeffrey Thomas at the tender age of 19. The second marriage occurred years later in 2001 to comedian Tom Green. That marriage ended in divorce after Green filed for a divorce less than a year later.
Hopefully the third time is the charm for Barrymore.
There has been no confirmation on the engagement from their respective reps, but if Drew and Will are set to marry, we wish them the best.
